LAHORE: Collectorate of Customs Appraisement and Facilitation Additional Collector Mahek Majeed issued office order directing staff members not to any leave without prior approval from Competent Authority.
The office order read as “it has been observed with great concern by the Competent Authority that the staff member of Customs Appraisement and Facilitation Lahore have been proceeded on leave without their leaves being assigned.
This practice is highly objectionable and against office discipline.
Therefore, all staff (officials/officers) are directed to not proceed for their leave before the prior approval by the competent authority. In case of non-compliance, serious consequence will be initiated against him/her.
Moreover, some officers have approved causal leave for officials working under their administrative control. However, the approved leaves are not marked to the deputy assistant collector (MIS) of the Collectorate which is creating difficulties in the process of assessment and examination of GDs. The officers of the Collectorate are requested to inform in time to the deputy/assistant collector MIS, so the WeBOC ID of the said official will be temporary closed for his/her leave period.
All the officers/in-charge of branches of the Collectorate are required to ensure compliance of these orders.
