ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotic Force (ANF) has decided to take action against groups involved in drugs dealing in educational institutions of the country.
According to the details, the ANF has claimed that almost eight million students have become drug addicts causing threat to the future of the country. At initial stages, officials would trace out the supply chain of the drug mafia involved in selling of drugs to students.
In next step ANF would raid the save heavens for the drug traffickers to arrest them. ANF officials said that 15 caring centers and hospitals have been established for the treatment of the drug addicts.
Provincial wise data stated that students of Sindh region are on top in drug usage, Punjab at second position, Khyber Pakhtunkhawa at third position, while the Blochistan’s students are at last position in drug usage.
The officials added that cigarettes and paan are keep in normal category, while the liquor, hashish, opium and other dangerous drugs fell in category of banned items. They said that ANF will take action against the dealers and consumers in the educational institution province wise.
It is important to mention here that 38 percent female and 43 percent male are drug addicted in the country, while the remaining 12 percent are underage drugs addicted.
