BAKU: The State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan is set to apply new declaration norms for entrepreneurs, Jafar Guluzadeh, an official of the General Office on Customs Control of the State Customs Committee, said at the seminar on the theme “simplifications applied for procedures and operations in order to create favorable conditions for business subjects” held at the European Regional Office for Capacity Building of the World Customs Organization (WCO).
According to him, the Committee is set to apply new and short import and export declaration: “So, the entrepreneurs will gain time in import and export operations”.
He also noted that incomplete declaration will be applied for entrepreneurs carrying out import and export operations via pipeline and power lines: “You know that complete customs declaration includes 54 items. However, several items have been removed from the new declaration. The entrepreneur fills the new declaration and responds to some items, which are included in complete declaration, within 30 days”.
