OSLO: Feed firm Biomar reported strong growth in sales revenue and a slight increase in operating profit in Q2, but tough times in Chile dampened the results somewhat.
Biomar, which is part of Danish conglomerate Schouw & Co., reported turnover of DKK 2.23 billion, up 21.86% year-on-year.
Operating profit only nudged up, however, to DKK 78.8 million, compared to DKK 78.6m for Q2 of 2014.
The company’s pre-tax profit was DKK 68.7m, down 5.37% y-o-y.
