ISLAMABAD: Customs Appellate Tribunal Chairman Ghulam Murtaza Bhatti on Monday arrived in Lahore after hearing cases at Tribunal’s headquarters in Islamabad.
According to Customs Appellate Tribunal’s officials, the chairman would stay in Lahore for a week. He would chair division and single benches in Punjab’s capital, they said.
The chairman had reached Islamabad early morning on Monday and left in the evening after completing hearing and issuing directions on the tribunal’s administrative matters.
By next week chairman customs appellate tribunal would visit Karachi where he has plenty of case to hear, CAT officials said.
