COPENHAGEN: Danish job board Jobindex reported revenue for the first quarter ending 31 March 2015 of DKK 63 million, an increase of 33.1% compared with DKK 47.5 million during the same period last year.
In addition to its core job board, which is known as Jobbsafari in Sweden and Norway, Jobindex also operates media company Computerworld, which it acquired in May 2013, and job boards StepStone and it-jobbank, both of which were acquired on 1 March 2014.
Jobindex’s core job board reported organic revenue growth of 25% to DKK 46 million (€6.2 million) in Q1 2015 compared with DKK 37 million (€5 million) the same quarter last year. Computerworld reported revenue of DKK 7 million (€938,005), on par with the results reported in Q1 2014.
It-jobbank reported revenue of DKK 4 million (€536,003) in Q1 2015, with StepStone reporting revenue of DKK 5 million (€670,003) for the period. Both StepStone and it-jobbank continue to operate as separate companies; which, according to Jobindex, allows the companies to achieve economies of scale without the disadvantages of a complete merger.
