KARACHI: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has appointed Dr Muhammad Irshad (BS-21) as member Inland Revenue (IR) Islamabad and Rehmatullah Khan Wazir (BS-21) as member Inland Revenue (IR).
As per details, both officials have served in different areas of country, including Karachi.
Dr Irshad at first served as Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office (RTO) Lahore. As chief Commissioner RTO Lahore, he has shown keen interests in enhancing the RTO revenue collection and he has shown tremendous performance in terms of tax recovery. He introduced a number of new policies and that are still operational by RTO Lahore.
Although Dr Irshad has not spent much time even than RTO Lahore collection remained high during his tenure as commissioner RTO Lahore. After appointment of Chief Commissioner Lahore, he has to perform his duties at RTO-I at Karachi as chief commissioner where he performance remained high and RTO-I has collected over Rs 2 billion Tax revenue during his tenure as Commissioner RTO-I Karachi.
Now on number 17 FBR issued a notification vide No-2674-IR-1/2015 about his deployment as member IR operations FBR Islamabad.
Official Rehmatullah Khan Wazir also served as Commissioner LTU before his deployment in prestigious department BTBFB Islamabad as Director General. He has introduces many new policies to increase the tax collection.
Talking to Customs Today RTO-I Muhammad Sleem said that Rehmatullah is simple, honest and polite person and he likes to treat its staff politely. He has also shown a great performance in terms of revenue collection.
