BERLIN: Irish Ambassador to Germany opens the Irish Maritime Development office at Hamburg.
Ambassador stressed the importance of bilateral relationship between Ireland and Germany. Mentioning about the German companies in Ireland employing over 10,000 people such as Lufhtanse, Allianz and SAP.
Ms Wardell, who joined the Irish Maritime Development office last year, stated that there are much more benefits of Doing business in Ireland, particular emphasis on Ireland’s Tonnage Tax regime. It will make Ireland an ideal place for ship owners, ship operators and Ship mangers.
In Terms of foreign direct investment Ireland has a tremendous track record and has a huge potential for the Maritime sector.
According to research, Ireland has one of the best tonnage Tax systems in the world. Irish Government has already set an agency IMDO tasked with the growth and development of the Maritime sector.
