FAISALABAD: All-out resources are being utilised to produce ample electricity to overcome prevailing crippling energy crisis in the country.
Addressing a ceremony here State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali has said that the government was committed to doing away with the outages and for the purpose a number of projects had been initiated. He said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was keen to provide maximum relief to the masses by reducing power tariff and prices of petroleum products.
The state minister pointed out that the Ministry of Water and Power was focusing on hydropower generation and a number of projects were in the pipeline to produce low cost energy and help to overcome the energy crisis.
