KARACHI: Faisal Moiz Khan, President North Karachi Association of Trade & Industry (NKATI), VP Naeem Haider have welcomed the Bin Qasim Power Station III project by K-Electric for uninterrupted supply of electricity to domestic, commercial & industrial consumers and termed it as very welcome for industrial production activities.
In a statement, office-bearers said that energy is the main raw material in crushing industries without which the production process is impossible. Therefore, K-Electric’s claim of uninterrupted power supply to Karachi consumers, especially industries, is really appreciated.
“Uninterrupted supply of electricity to the industries would not only boost the industries but also have a positive impact on the economy and jobs will be created”, they said, adding that, in this regard, we thank the CEO of K-Electric, Monis Alvi, Chief Distribution Officer, Amir Zia and the entire team for their efforts in making the project of uninterrupted supply of electricity seem to be completed.
NKATI office-bearers added that the move would definitely reduce the cost of production for the industry. In particular, there will be significant reduction in the cost of generating electricity to industries through generators and manufacturers will prefer K-E instead of relying on generators. However, KE will also have to reduce the cost of electricity, which will also help reduce the burden on consumers.
