IRAN: Iran Customs Administration’s latest report revealed that country’s total export amounted to $24.245 billion in the first quarter of the current Iranian year from March 21(Jomeh: 1. Farvardin 1393) to June 20 (Shanbeh: 31. Khordad 1393), which shows 27 percent boost compared to the same period of last year.
As per details, Iran sent abroad 25.518 million tonnes of non-oil cargo worth some $11.859 billion in the above mention time period. The country’s non-oil exports in the initial three months of the prior calendar year were $9.838 billion.
Iran Customs Administration’s latest report proposed that the country also imported 9.755 million tonnes of goods worth $12.386 billion in that session.
According to Iran Customs Administration, the country’s total non-oil exports to foreign countries stood at $31.332 billion in previous year, adding that country’s total imports amounted to $50.818 billion.
The figures mark annual trade balance of -19.486 billion dollars for Iran that anticipated its annual trade turnover to reach $160 billion by the end of the fifth five-year development plan.
