ROME: Italy’s services expanded more slowly in July than in June, when growth reached a 12-month high, a survey showed on Wednesday, as the euro zone’s third-biggest economy slowly emerges from a three-year slump.
The Markit/ADACI Business Activity Index for services companies fell to 52.0 from 53.4 in June, remaining above the 50 mark that separates growth from contraction for a fifth straight month. A Reuters poll of 12 analysts had predicted a reading of 53.0.
