AMMAN: President of Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) Issa Haider Murad on Sunday discussed with Vice Chairman Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mazen Mohammad Batterjee ways to improve customs procedures at border crossings in order to ease the flow of goods between the two countries.
The meeting tackled a host of issues including, improving economic relations between the two countries, particularly in the private sector, as well as strengthening security measures to maintain the stability and security of the two countries.
During the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of Batterjee’s participation at the 2nd Silk Road Conference, the two officials stressed the importance of the operations of the Jordanian – Saudi Business Council, which plays a key role in enhancing cooperation between both countries.
