KARACHI: “Trade Development Association of Pakistan (TDAP) will be asked to solve difficulties faced by Karachi-based business community engaged in export trade,” said Commissioner Karachi, Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui while talking to the local exporters.
While talking to a delegation of businessmen, Siddiqui said proper understanding about issues and coordinated efforts could help raise industrial output. They can help increase exports goods, of wide range, from the country, he added.
Commissioner Karachi said submissions forwarded to him by local exporters and also the recommendations generated during recently held Professional Shipping Logistics and Supply Chain Management Conference was also sent to TDAP authorities. Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui said these recommendation if applied could help country in general could get new markets for its exports across the globe. He said it was the need of the hour that public sector institutions develop strong links with traders and business community.
