KARACHI: The Managing Committee of Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI), in its meeting held on 27th September, 2014, unanimously elected office bearers for year 2014-2015.
Iftikhar Ahmed Vohra, who has become 22nd President of Karachi Chamber from the Businessmen Group, was elected unopposed to lead KCCI affairs while Muhammad Ibrahim Kasumbi was elected as Senior Vice President KCCI and Agha Shahab Ahmed Khan as Vice President.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Businessmen Group (BMG) has been constantly winning KCCI’s election since past 17 years and has undoubtedly succeeded in restoring the confidence of the entire business and industrial community of Karachi due to transparent policy of ‘Public Service’ being followed by all the office-bearers during their tenures under the guidelines of BMG Chairman Siraj Kassam Teli.
BMG Chairman Siraj Kassam Teli strongly believes and has been advising the same to the office bearers from time to time that anyone, who climbs the stairs of Karachi Chamber to seek help, must be fully supported and assisted regardless of considering whether the individual approaching KCCI for assistance was its member or not. Owing to BMG’s clear and transparent policy of serving the entire business community, KCCI enjoys the distinction of being the leading voice of the Karachi city’s entire business community and the largest chamber of the country.
The newly-elected office-bearers of KCCI have expressed their willingness to dedicatedly discharge their services up to the expectations of KCCI members and the entire business community of Karachi city. They assured that no stone will be left unturned to achieve various objectives of the premier Chamber.
