TOKYO: In the latest Final Fantasy 15 Active Time Report, game director Hajime Tabata and Aniplex publicity producer Toshiyuki Kanzezawa announced that Kingsglaive Final Fantasy 15 will release on July 9th in Japan.
Tickets for the movie are already available for sale and those who buy tickets early will be given a free metallic A3 poster.
Kingsglaive Final Fantasy 15 a CG movie set in the universe of Final Fantasy 15 game universe. Kingsglaive will be a tie-in film whose plot runs directly parallel to the events of the game as King Regis of Lucis fights Niflheim Empire with the help of elite corps of soldiers called Kingsglaive.
Regis is forced to allow Niflheim to occupy all of Lucis’s lands outside of the capital city and agree to marry Noctis to Lady Lunafreya, a captive of Niflheim and Noctis’s childhood friend.
A trailer has been released for the movie which shows the movie filled with stunning architecture of the movie mixed with stunning animation.
Kingsglaive Final Fantasy 15 is directed by Takeshi Nozue, who also co-directed Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children.
Various big-name voice actors have been selected to play the parts of the major characters, including Sean Bean as King Regis (say your goodbyes now, folks), Lena Headey as Lady Luna and Aaron Paul as Nyx, the film’s main protagonist.
However, Square Enix is yet to announce voice cast for the Japanese version of the film.
Final Fantasy 15 will be available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox one on September 30 2016.
