KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange once again lost its early gains as the 100-index suffered 133.64 points loss and down by 0.40 per cent to 33442.30 level till midday on Wednesday.
The maximum trading level in market was recorded at 33681.05 points and minimum level of 33442.30 points, while the total remained 86,186,940 shares, having RS86,186,940 value.
The top three traded companies were Faysal Bank with a volume of 32,210,500 and price per share of 17.73 (0.70 Byco Petroleum with a volume of 16,475,500 and price per share of 13.12 0.42) and B.O.Punjab with a volume 11,272,000 and price per share of 10.03 (-0.27).
Earlier, the KSE started with positive note, recouping the overnight losses as 100-index up by 30 per cent and gained 102.26 point to reach 33678.20 mark.
On Tuesday, the benchmark 100-index lost 268.36 points or 0.79 percent to reach 33575.94 points, with the volume of 205,280,470 shares.
