KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange kept the momentum of early bullish note as 100-index added 304.45 points to take the mark to 33761.19 level till midday on Friday.
The bullish market witnessed the highest trading level of 33761.19 points and lowest level of 33456.74 points, while the total volume remained 66,126,990 shares, having worth of Rs5,936,523,372.
The top three traded companies were KASB Bank Ltd, Ghani Automobile and Byco Petroleum. The KASB Bank Ltd, despite reducing share price, remained on top of the traded companies with a volume of 19,198,500 and price per share of 2.95 (-0.33), Ghani Automobile on second with a volume 13,585,500 of price per share of 6.90 0.77) and Byco Petroleum with a volume 9,944,500 of price per share of 12.72 (0.56).
Earlier, the KSE brought another good day for investors as benchmark KSE-100 index up by 0.33 per cent, after gaining 111.21 points and reached 33567.95 level.
Thursday witnessed a roller coaster ride of index at the stock market as the KSE closed down by 33.91 points, or 0.10 per cent, at 33,456.74 after taking a good start.
