KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange witnessed fluctuation in trading and remained flat till midday on Friday, the last trading day.
The benchmark KSE-100 index gained 9.17 points to reach 33112.90 points, with the total volume of 64,575,240 shares, having Rs3,700,747,146value. The stock market recorded highest trading level at 33133.90 points and lowest level at 32953.74 points.
B.O.Punjab topped the trading companies with a volume of 18,967,000 and price per share of 9.98(0.70). Byco Petroleum remained second with a volume of 9,075,000 and price per share of 0.11(0.11) and Pak Elektron with a volume 6,798,500 of price per share of 63.09 (0.17).
Earlier, the Karachi Stock Exchange took another negative start as 100-index lost 65.28 points to drop to 33038.45 level, with total volume of 24,615,790 shares in early trading.
On Thursday, the KSE gained 108.36 points or 0.57 percent to reach 33103.73 points and volume of 109,670,100 shares.
