KARACHI: The Karachi Stock Exchange Wednesday witnessed fluctuation in the trading and lost the early gains, however, it remained in green zone till midday. The benchmark KSE 100-index added 42.61 points to reach 32152.48 level.
The country’s biggest stock market recorded the highest trading level of 32431.07 points and lowest level of 32109.87 points with the total volume of 95,445,300 shares, having Rs5,439,198,535 value.
The three top traded companies were RG Pak Ltd with a volume of 18,066,000 and price per share of 19.78 (1.00), Jah.Sidd. Co. with a volume 14,225,000 of price per share of 20.75 (0.52), Pak Elektron with a volume 11,422,500of price per share of 61.66 (2.53).
Earlier, the Karachi Stock Exchange, breaking the bearish spell, opened with positive note, recouping the previous losses. The benchmark 100-index gained mammoth 315 points to reach 32424.93 points, with total volume of 34,034,400 shares.
On Tuesday, the KSE lost 138.58 points or 0.43 percent to reach 32109.87 points and volume of 180,213,450 shares on institutional offloading ahead of budget proposals.
