MULTAN: Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has disposed 41 seizure cases involving Rs.201.910 million during the month of September 2021-22.
The Collectorate of Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has disposed of 41 different seizure cases framed by Anti-Smuggling Organization (ASO) and Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigation during their various actions. Multan Customs Adjudication has disposed these seizure cases in September after completion of hearing. Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office has issued Order-in-Original (ONO) in the 46 various seizure cases after completion of legal proceedings on the basis of presented facts.
Deputy Collector Customs Adjudication Multan Abdul Mueed Kanjoo settled almost 8 various seizure cases of worth Rs.2.150 million throughout September after concluding legal proceedings. Deputy collector Abdul Mueed Kanjoo settled all seizure cases in the favour of Customs department after assessing presented evidences. Almost 10 various fresh seizure cases of Rs.6.530 million have been added in the month of September in the Customs Adjudication Multan Camp Office.
Additional Collector Customs Adjudication Talib Hussain has decided 23 seizure cases worth Rs45.300 million throughout the month of September 2020-21.Additional Collector has settled all said seizure cases in the favor of Customs department after observing facts during trial in September. Near about 29 new seizure cases of Rs.59.520 million were added for trial in the court of Additional Collector Adjudication during September 2021-22.
Collector Muhammad Nayyar Shafiq settled almost 10 different seizure cases of worth Rs.154.460 million for the duration of September. All these seizure cases were decided in the favor of Customs department. Majority of these decided seizures were against violation of rule, smuggling, misuse of DTRE export facility cases, petroleum and others. As many as 4 different seizure cases of worth Rs. 55.775 million was added during said month for legal trial.
