MULTAN: The Customs Intelligence and Investigation has reportedly generated Rs 0.59 million from the auction of seized items.
The auction was carried out under Customs Intelligence Additional Director Nisar Ahmed, Superintendent Muhammad Afzal and Auction Officer Muhammad Akram in the range offices at Rajapur, near Khanewal Road.
The authorities auctioned 40,000 litres of furnace oil, 27,000 litres of petrol, 8000 litres of high speed diesel (HSD), 9,400 kilogrammes of sludge, 70 pieces of gasoline generator, plastic rolls , cigarette lighters and 5,749 mobile chargers.
During the auction, HSD got successful bids, while participants did not show interest in other items.
