KHAIRPUR: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has inaugurated Farmers Festival and National Conference here.
The event was organised by Sindh Agriculture University of Tando Jam at Khairpur College of Agriculture. The chief minister visited stalls which were set up at the farmers festival and national conference on agriculture and livestock. He appreciated the efforts of the university’s vice chancellor for organising the festival to impart knowledge about new technology in agro business sector.
The chief minister urged local businessmen to set up more industry in the city. He said economic zone has already been set up in the district for establishing more industries and boost small entrepreneurs as well as livestock industry in the district.
Aga Siraj Durrani, Vice Chancellor of Sindh Agriculture University, lauded the efforts of the Sindh Chief Minister to make Khairpur district a model educational hub in the province.
