KARACHI: A delegation of the Turkish Jewelry Association (TJA), comprising Oguz Ozdemir, and Evindar Akcan, has visited the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI). The delegation invited the KCCI members to visit Istanbul Jewelry Show which will provide a perfect opportunity to the Pakistani manufacturers and exporters to introduce their products in Turkish market.
As per details, Murat Mustu, the commercial attaché of the Turkish Consulate in Karachi, Abdullah Zaki, KCCI president, Muhammad Idrees, vice president, along with prominent manufacturers and exporters of Pakistani jewelry sector attended the meeting.
Ozdemir said that Istanbul Jewelry Show is a unique platform for the jewelry industry that carries a special importance as an outstanding trade bridge between Europe and Middle East.
He said that more than 800 manufacturers and exporters of Turkish Jewelry Association along with machinery and equipment manufacturers from 40 countries will also be exhibiting their products in this exhibition.
Earlier, while welcoming the delegation, Zaki said that Pakistan holds huge resources of gemstone with several varieties at par with international standards in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and the Northern Areas of the country.
He said that KCCI has always raised voice for technology transfers and enhanced investments as they believe that boosting bilateral relations and economic activities could help countries rapidly grow.
